• Account Information: Email, username, and display name when you register
• Uploaded Files: Files you upload are stored on Backblaze B2 cloud storage
• Usage Data: IP addresses, user agents, upload timestamps, and view counts
• Session Data: Browser cookies for authentication and preferences

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the file drop service
• To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
• To maintain and improve the service

3. File Storage and Deletion

• Guest uploads are stored temporarily and auto-deleted based on the configured TTL
• Registered user files are stored until the user deletes them or they expire
• Deleted files are removed from Backblaze B2 storage
• Database records of deleted files are purged after 30 days

4. Third-Party Services

• Backblaze B2: Cloud object storage for uploaded files
• Brevo: Transactional email delivery
• Google and GitHub: Optional social login (OAuth)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With service providers necessary to operate the platform (Backblaze, Brevo)
• When required by law or legal process
• To protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Delete your uploaded files at any time
• Delete your account by contacting us
• Export your data by contacting us

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, password hashing (Argon2id), CSRF protection, and rate limiting.
